THE CHOICE OF OUR MATERIALS

At Almanarre, we pay particular attention to the choice of our materials to limit our environmental impact.

Our clothing is made from 100% cotton, untreated with chemical softeners, and selected for its quality and durability. This commitment is evident at first glance, even before touching the product, with materials that have a clean and structured appearance.

Each piece benefits from a pre-wash treatment in the factory, guaranteeing perfect stability when washed and preventing any loss of size after the first machine wash.

All our materials are sourced in Portugal from committed suppliers, certified by recognized labels such as OEKO-TEX and GOTS, ensuring quality, durability and respect for environmental and social standards.

OUR SUPPLIERS

The choice of our suppliers is a process we take very seriously.

We work only with partners we know personally. Before each collaboration, we take the time to meet them, then we regularly visit the workshops to monitor production and ensure consistent quality as well as compliance with our ethical standards.

We prioritize human-scale factories, composed of committed men and women, working in respectful and safe conditions. Each workshop complies with strict environmental and responsible production requirements.

Beyond work, we have built true relationships of trust with our Portuguese suppliers. Over time, these collaborations have become strong bonds, essential to the creation of products that reflect our values.

OUR COMMITMENTS

At Almanarre Clothing, we are not just a clothing brand. We embody a lifestyle, guided by a love for the sea and respect for our environment.

Beyond our products, our aim is also to convey a message. We want to encourage our community to consume more fairly, by valuing ethics, quality, and more responsible choices.

Every action counts, and we move forward with the desire to make a difference, on our own scale.

A LITTLE MORE ASIA

Although we produce the majority of our products in Europe, a portion of our production is still carried out in Asia, accounting for approximately 20% of our total volume.

These parts mainly concern technical products, requiring specific expertise and more advanced manufacturing processes. This choice allows us to offer more refined and high-performing parts, while maintaining demanding quality standards and fair prices for our community.
